Long
Distance Customers
Our Round-up Program as an easy way for long distance customers to make
extra donations to the non-profit environmental organizations that Earth
Tones supports. Once you sign up for the program, any month that you
choose you can write your check out for a higher dollar amount than your
bill. Instead of rolling over to the next month's statement, this extra
money goes directly to the environment. Rounding up is optional each month and you choose how much
you wish to add to your bill. Donations through the Round-up Program are
not tax deductible as charitable contributions since many of the
non-profit groups we support use the money to influence public policy on
behalf of the environment.
Internet Customers
We have priced our internet access to cost 15 to 20% less than the major
internet providers. However, you can choose to pay an extra dollar a month
for internet access with that extra dollar going directly to the
non-profit organizations to Earth Tones supports. Even with this extra
donation, the cost of our unlimited, feature-rich internet access is well
below what most of the big providers charge. As with the long distance
Round-up Program, you cannot report this money as a charitable
contribution for tax purposes.
By choosing Earth Tones Long Distance or Internet Access, you are helping
to fund environmental organizations working hard to protect our
wilderness, wildlife and public health. Through our Round-up Programs, you
can help these great grassroots organizations even more.
